Another step closer to the cliff.

Let's start with the obvious. Collecting our information has become a billion dollar business. Companies have used legal waivers and terms and conditions to bypass our rights. We need to put a stop to this immediately. As I have written before. Local and federal government are already using cellular service providers to track users and deny service in times of unrest. Voice and data service access are independent channels and can be disabled while maintaining tracking. This is not a hunch, this is not a hypothetical, this is fact. I have posted links to ACLU cases previously. Examples are not hard to find. Look no further than the January sixth insurrection/protest/debacle. The government has admitted to using cell tower records from multiple carriers to track and prove peoples locations inside the capitol. Whatever your political leanings this should scare you.

As I also outlined before. If they can decide who gets to make calls or texts then they can also decide who gets to drive or not. And your ability to travel, to escape danger, to seek food or medical help is lost. This is not hyperbole this is reality. Tesla laid the the ground work with their self driving/parking technology. These features are being introduced slow enough for the general public to never see it coming.

In December of 2021 Biden announced that the government would be mandating a phasing out of internal combustion engine vehicles by 2035. That may seem far off but as of this writing it's a scant 11 years away. On April 10th 2023 that time table got a little more real. The Environmental protection agency is pushing through legislation that would effectively ensure that two thirds of all vehicles are electric by 2032. Ford and Dodge are well on their way to converting their product lines. GM isnt far behind. With the electric car will also come unprecedented monitoring and control ceded to local and federal government in the guise of safety.

Ill say it again the electric car is a cell phone with wheels. its features and capabilities limited only by the software that is loaded on to it and the sensor suite its sold with. Every single electric car sold in modern times has been equipped with 3g/4g/5g modems and wifi. Just like your cell phone information including your location travels speeds and stops are all recorded and relayed. Even if your car doenst have the capability of self driving. It does have the ability to be remoteley disabled. It is quite literally the easiest Software to write. As long as your car is within range of Cellular or wifi networks you cant escape. I have been sounding this alarm for sometime. I am shocked that I haven't found many other examples of people in automotive or related industries warning the public of whats coming. I think we will see examples of this in china first so I am paying as much attention to that region as possible. But I fear once this bell is rung and people finally see the dangers they've left themselves open to it might be too late.

Folks, trouble is coming. the good news is our for fathers have already written out a way to put a stop to what's coming. We just have to make our representatives see the answer in the appropriate and effective way.

I am talking about the Fourth amendment.

Fourth Amendment Explained

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Hopefully with many of the current old guard on both sides aging out. Maybe we will get younger more techno savy leaders that understand the possibilities and the threats they pose.
