I am gonna start off this post with a statement many of you aren't going to like, I kinda like the C8 Corvette, yes I agree it looks like a cartoonist smashed up the previous C7.
Jokes on you guys I like that kind of art! Now I expect some derision here and thats ok, I know that those of you that would disagree with me are wrong. Now that we've got that out of the way... If you were to attempt a styling fix of the C8 what would you do? Well if you know me at all you know I am very excited that Liberty Walk Japan has one in their garage as we speak.They are working their magic and are fitting it for an LB Performance body kit of its very own! Again I know some of you are not on board with the wide body movement and as I have said many a time Cool aint for everyone. Jokes aside, what if you wanted to really change things up? I am talking get seriously aggressive as in not a body kit but a body restyling what direction should you go? Well lets talk about what we are working with. Here we have a GM built rear/mid engine platform with agreeably questionable styling, but awesome everything else... Waitaminute!!! How did it take me so long to see this?!? How hard would it be to re body the C8 to look like the Cien concept car?!?! I mean if the heroes at LB can make a GT 40 kit car look like a Miura this has gotta be possible. Best of all its not like there isn't precedent for this, I am sure we all remember the reboodied Corvettes Cadillac did with the XLR. I think I am on to something here, I genuinely cant believe it took me this long to think of this!
So Am I crazy or is this a great idea?
