Just watched several versions of the Ford GTD homologation reveal…. If Ford had shown it in Eruption Green my fun bits might have spontaneously combusted. Holy shit this thing is ridiculously good. Way cooler than I thought possible with the rest of the worlds obsession with electrification. Ford with their bases covered by Mach E and lighting have chosen to keep Mustang pure. Pure insanity that is. I can’t believe how hard in the paint they’ve gone with the GTD. As menacing and purposeful as the outside is, I can’t wait to see interior shots!!
With Chevrolet axing the Camaro and Dodge already confirming it’s castration of all things MOPAR by pulling the plug on Hellcat and going full electric… Ford is not just the winner by default, the littoral last one standing. With Mustang GTD Ford has done the most illogical thing they could. What they did in WW2, They’ve turned their sights across the Atlantic. Towards Europes best, their fastest and most feared. Like George Washington crossing the Delaware. Babe Ruth standing at the plate pointing towards the wall. Like when Ford The Duece went after Enzo’s most precious possession his very pride. Bill Ford looks to be declaring war on all of Europe and with the Mustang GTD set to take Mustang from gentlemen racer GT to all out world dominance… or to put it another way AMERICA FUCK YEAH!!!!
Oh Ford…. I’m not kidding about the paint. Eruption Green, no stripes… make that shit happen!!!
